Qolleqt collects and stores only the information necessary to provide the application's functionality.

Account Information

When you create an account, we may collect:

• Authentication information necessary to maintain your account

User-Generated Content

When you use Qolleqt, you may provide information such as:

• Recipes you create or save
• Recipe descriptions, ingredients, instructions, images, and other recipe content you choose to submit
• Recipes you like or mark with a status
• Other profile information that you voluntarily provide

Device Information

Qolleqt does not intentionally collect precise location information, contacts, text messages, phone calls, financial information, health information, or other sensitive device information. The application may use information provided by the operating system or third-party services as necessary for basic application functionality.

2. How We Use Information

We use information only to provide and operate Qolleqt, including to:

• Create and maintain user accounts
• Authenticate users
• Display user profiles
• Store and display recipes
• Allow users to save, like, and manage recipes
• Provide the application's features and functionality
• Maintain and secure the service
• Respond to support requests

Note: We do not sell users' personal information. We do not use users' personal information for targeted advertising.

3. How Information Is Stored

Qolleqt uses Supabase as its backend infrastructure for authentication and database services.

Information submitted through Qolleqt may therefore be transmitted to and stored on servers operated by or on behalf of our service providers.

We use reasonable security measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Data transmitted between the application and our backend services is protected using encrypted connections where supported.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share users' personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

We may use service providers, such as our backend infrastructure provider, solely to operate and provide Qolleqt's functionality. These providers process information on our behalf and are not authorized to use it for unrelated purposes.

We may also disclose information if reasonably necessary to:

• Comply with applicable law or legal process
• Protect the rights, safety, or security of Qolleqt, our users, or others
• Detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues

5. Data Retention

We retain account information and user-generated content for as long as your account remains active or as necessary to provide Qolleqt's functionality. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize associated personal information and user data within a reasonable period, subject to information that we may be required to retain by law.

6. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your Qolleqt account and associated personal data.

Account deletion can be initiated through the account-management functionality provided within Qolleqt.

If you are unable to access the account deletion functionality, you may contact us using the contact information below to request account and data deletion.

When an account deletion request is completed, we will delete the personal information and user-generated data associated with the account, except where retention is required by applicable law.

7. Children's Privacy

Qolleqt is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

8. Third-Party Services

Qolleqt uses third-party services that are necessary to operate the application, including backend infrastructure and authentication services. These services may process information submitted through the application solely as necessary to provide their services to us.

Our current backend service provider is: Supabase.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy. We encourage users to periodically review this Privacy Policy for any changes.
